Maor Levi is a highly original up and coming producer hailing from Israel.
At the tender age of just 17 and after already releasing a track under the Pillow One alias on the Future Heroes 2 compilation via Lost Language, he now joins forces with Anjunabeats' hot new label, Anjunadeep.
Producing since the age of 11 and inspired by the Tiesto Magik series, he took his unique style of trance to the internet. Garnering many reactions and taking onboard all the resources he could find, with the help of FL Studio, he honed his skills to the point where labels started taking him seriously. After being featured in Tiesto's "In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza" album, Maor gained a broad new audience. His distinctive sound has made him a rapidly growing name in the trance community.
The first release Lital in January 2006 helps opens up the Anjunadeep world with a rich atmospheric dark stutter-vocal fuelled trance that's being supported by the likes of Markus Schulz and Armin Van Buuren.
Maor began his journey into the world of electronic music at the tender age of 11 when he broke free of his restricted knowledge
and experience of local Psy-Trance artists Infected Mushroom, doof and Yahel and discovered Hard Trance. Delving deeper into the land of
electronica, Maor inevitably stumbles across Tiesto’s ‘In Search of Sunrise’ album. This was a major staging point for Maor as the deep kick drums, driving bass lines and resonating melodies overwhelmed him with enchantment. It was then that Maor knew that he wanted to be a part of this culture and dedicated himself to producing.
After many years of hard practice and determination Maor finally signed his first record ‘Ministry of Love’ to the UK Label ‘Lost Language’ under his Progressive Trance alias ‘Pillow One’ and layed the foundation for his career in producing. Bringing a new approach to the israeli trance scene with his unique blend of various sounds and genres Maor’s success became unstoppable signing massive hits to many top global labels such as ‘Anjunabeats UK’, ‘Spinnin Records NL’, ‘Armada NL’, ‘Ministry of Sound’ and many more. Maor’s earned the attention and love of many listeners and resulted in a large fanbase that kept him moving within
the industry.
Maor has spent the IDF using any free time out the army to work like a madman on remixes under his Techno and House alias ‘123XYZ’ which has already gained many listeners and massive support. In 2009 he is due to release his first artist album containing many new singles, collaborations and a long line of remixes and singles on the road which is guaranteed to rock the very foundations of many clubs around the Earth. last 3 years as a soldier in the
